Bring a lovely bit of Tanzania into your home with a quilted wallhanging created by Bibi Jann herself from colorful Tanzanian prints and batiks purchased in Tanzania, thus benefiting local people. You see samples throughout our website and below.

Select from among people, animals, or abstract motifs in a variety of colorways; sizes vary, but average 15 x 20 inches. Some of the batik fabrics used are made by project bibis (grandmothers) to help them earn a living for their grandchildren and are purchased from them to make the hangings. A few are designer prints with embellishments.

All proceeds from sales go back into GRANDMA-2-GRANDMA.

QUILTERS: You can support our bibis by buying their batiks directly from Bibi Jann. Their small hand and foot print batiks are especially delightful. One yard: $10, half-yard $5.
